The Dalai Lama Is The Sheep In A Den Of Wolves!

Today, the capital of Tibet , Lhasa , is being racked with violence through the riotous actions of pro-independence supporters. Shops and cars are being burnt; innocent - mostly Chinese - civilians have been slaughtered. Even the ethnic Moslem Chinese minority are facing the brunt of this violence.

Tibetan pro-independence protesters are saying they are taking to the streets, as this is the 49th anniversary of China 's occupation of Tibet . This is really funny! Why this year? Why not the 48th Year? Why not the 30th Year or the 25th Year? Wouldn't next year which is the 50th Anniversary be more significant?

The answer to all of the above is a resounding 'No" as this year is the Year of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. I am sure there are sinister forces behind these protests and the Dalai Lama himself cannot disclaim knowledge of its happening. There is blood on his hands for the resulting deaths because of the rioting.

The Dalai Lama's henchmen have programmed this well to gain maximum global media mileage and while the Dalai Lama himself does not call the world to boycott the August 2008 Beijing Olympics, his able Western stalwart and supporter Richard Gere has openly called for a boycott.

A person is judged by one's actions and not by what one wears or speaks. The inaction by the Dalai Lama to rebuke his followers for their recent violent protests speaks volumes of his intent. Instead of calling on his followers to stop their violent protests, he has only called on the Chinese Government to restrain from using 'brute force'.

While he decries Beijing 's use of force, he allows his followers to stone, beat and kill the Chinese as well to burn shops. Ethnic Moslems in Lhasa have not been spared either! The Dalai Lama, for all intents and purposes, must have direct contact with his followers and therefore it is reasonable to assume that the violent protests in Lhasa were organized, premeditated and masterminded by his henchmen on his instructions.

The Dalai Lama knows that continued violence from his followers will result in many more innocent people being hurt and killed. How does one react to violent protests when protesters beat and burn Chinese shops and homes? How would one control the violent protests in Tibet that are being encouraged by the Dalai Lama without any loss of life?

Had it been a peaceful protest there would not be any need for the Chinese security forces or the police to resort to forceful measures to quell this civil uprising. How can anyone allow violent and unruly Tibetan protesters to break and destroy the fabric of social harmony and create social unrest by beating, killing and burning Chinese and other civilian properties?

From day one, the Dalai Lama should have called on his followers to stop the violence, instead of encouraging them to more violence, forcing Beijing to act appropriately and then condemning the Chinese authorities for brutality.

After the damage is done he now threatens to resign only "if things get out of control" but he never asked that such violent protests must stop immediately. He only "urged the Tibetans to show restraint", he did not, however urge them to conduct 'peaceful' instead of 'violent' protests. If the protests were all along intended to be peaceful then there is no need for any call 'for restraint', unless the protests were all along intended to be violent.

Many foreigners condemn the Chinese Government's actions without any understanding of the complex political situation in China and Tibet . I personally do not subscribe to the 'western style' of democracy where 'social stability and harmony' are placed second to 'personal interests and benefits'.

The Dalai Lama is the sheep in his flock, but there are thousands of wolves in his den, and the Den Master is Richard Gere!
